These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website 187.ro and its subdomains (the "Site"), operated by 187DEF SRL ("187DEF", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About the Site

The Site is an informational and corporate presence. It describes our company, our research, and our products, including REAP, RESYNTH (reSynth²), TRAKK, and VOX. Information on the Site is provided for general information only. It does not constitute an offer, a quotation, a warranty of availability, or a commitment to sell, supply, license, or export any product or technology.

2. Eligibility and acceptable use

You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to:

• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers, or connected systems;
• probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site without our prior written authorisation;
• interfere with or disrupt the Site, including through denial-of-service or automated overload;

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, layout, code, product names, logos, and the marks 187DEF, REAP, RESYNTH, reSynth², TRAKK, and VOX, is owned by or licensed to 187DEF SRL and is protected by intellectual property law.

You may view and reference the content for legitimate, non-commercial, informational purposes, including citing it with attribution. You may not reproduce, republish, redistribute, or commercially exploit any part of the Site without our prior written permission. No licence to any trademark or other intellectual property is granted except as expressly stated.

Content we publish under an explicit open licence (for example, datasets, models, or code released under a stated licence on our repositories) is governed by the terms of that licence.

4. Export control, dual-use, and defense technology

This is the most important section for anyone considering a commercial relationship with us. Please read it.

Parts of the software and hardware we build may be export controlled according to Romanian regulation. Our products and technologies may be subject to export-control and dual-use regulation, including Regulation (EU) 2021/821 (the EU Dual-Use Regulation), Romanian national export-control law, and the oversight of the National Agency for Export Controls (ANCEX), the competent Romanian authority. Some items may also be subject to sanctions and end-use restrictions.

You acknowledge and agree that:

• nothing on the Site is an offer or commitment to sell, supply, license, transfer, or export any controlled item;
• any supply, sale, or transfer is subject in every case to the applicable licensing, authorisation, end-user, and end-use requirements, and to our own due-diligence and eligibility checks;
• we do not supply to persons or entities subject to applicable sanctions or embargoes, or where the intended end use is unlawful;
• responsibility for compliance with the import, export, and end-use laws of your own jurisdiction rests with you.

We may decline any enquiry or transaction at our discretion, including where compliance, eligibility, or end-use cannot be satisfactorily established.

5. Third-party links and content

The Site may link to external sites and services that we do not control, including our blog, code repositories, and third-party platforms. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those services. Links do not imply endorsement.

6. No warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 187DEF SRL is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Indemnity

You agree to hold us harmless from claims, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the Site, to the extent such claims result from your acts or omissions.

We may update these Terms at any time. The current version is the one published at this address, with the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any dispute arising from or relating to the Site or these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Bucharest, Romania, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that may apply.
